Amin joins team to coordinate Ohio START, PACT

Ghadir Amin joined the PCSAO team Feb. 3 as Initiatives Coordinator. She will support both Ohio START and PACT (Practice in Action Together).

Amin previously worked at LifeCare Alliance. She worked closely with volunteers in the Meals-on-Wheels program, ensuring efficient service delivery and fostering meaningful community connections. Passionate about helping seniors and individuals with medical challenges, she gained experience in volunteer engagement, program coordination, and process improvement. “I am dedicated to creating supportive environments through my work,” Amin said. “And I’m equally committed to supporting children and families, from enhancing stability and well-being to ensuring positive outcomes through collaborative initiatives.”

Director of Ohio START Fawn Gadel and Director of Strategic Initiatives Mike Kenney said that Amin’s analytical and organizational skills will bring significant capacity to the two initiatives. “As START looks toward sustainability and PACT continues to grow and hone its cultural implementation approach, we will rely on Ghadir to formalize our processes, connect the dots with our partners at the local level, and ensure that we are effectively supporting county agency staff with these critical programs,” Kenney said.

Outside the office, Amin continues to deliver meals as a LifeCare Alliance volunteer. An immigrant from Iraq, she believes that her experiences have shaped her passion for advocacy and public service. “I could not be more excited to work on these two initiatives that support county agencies in improving outcomes for families.”
